This property includes a two bedroom/one bath main house as well as an additional one bedroom/one bathroom cottage with an additional living room. This meticulously maintained property also includes a hot outdoor shower! Completely remodeled historical cottage across the street from the beautiful Pacific Ocean. With two separate cottages on the same property you will have three bedrooms and two modern full bathrooms. The front cottage’s two bedrooms have queen beds and also a completely updated kitchen and bathroom. New modern fixtures and furniture throughout. The back cottage has one bedroom with a king bed, one full bathroom and a living room with a sectional couch that can be a queen bed.

The dining table in the main cottage can accommodate five people, and an additional two people can sit at the kitchen bar top.

This home was above and beyond what we expected! It looked great in the pictures but the warmth and homeyness was felt the moment we drove up to the front door.
Every detail was meticulously and beautifully thought out even down to supplies you might have forgotten to bring.
Our host was readily available to answer any question and always answered in a timely fashion. She even found out where a certain item was purchased so we could buy one of our own!
The location was perfect. We could walk to the beach and or downtown Carlsbad in minutes. Plus the little patio between the main and back house was a great private place for us all to hang out and relax.
We had 4 people in our party and between all of us we have stayed at quite a few Airbnb's, even overseas, and we all agreed that this was by far the best one!

WOW! They have gone above and beyond to make the cottage perfect for their guests. They have literally thought of everything that someone could want or need. From tylenol, hair ties, toothbrush, luxurious toiletries, plush towels and crisp linens. The space is beautifully decorated and quite cozy. We stayed here for the location because we were going to Legoland. It was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle after busy days at the theme park. My only regret is not staying longer!

We had an amazing stay at the Blue Ocean Cottage. It has such a cool beach vibe with all the updated decor and amenities. You instantly feel like you are at home but yet still on vacation. Everything, and I mean everything, has been provided to you for a great beach getaway.
We literally walked everywhere. All the restaurants, stores, and bars are within a block or two from the house. It was about 100 steps to the beach access. Literally on the sand in about 3-4 minutes. The location was perfect!
Another hidden gem was the parking. We flew in from out of town but had friends and family living in SoCal drive in and stay with us. It has a nice, long driveway and we fit 3 cars on it plus another two in front of the house.
We will definitely stay here again and already talking about when we are coming back! Thank you to our hosts! It was a fabulous stay!!
